1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Meetzen ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm a parent or guardian has reviewed these Terms.

2. The service

Meetzen provides virtual coworking and body-doubling sessions — you can match with focused partners, host rooms, set goals, run timers, and chat. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

3. Accounts

• You're responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure.
• You may not share your account with others.
• You agree to provide accurate information and update it as needed.
• You may delete your account at any time from Settings.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or harm other users (including via video, audio, or chat).
• Share illegal, sexually explicit, or violent content.
• Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your identity.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or attack our systems.
• Use Meetzen to send spam or commercial solicitations.
• Bypass capacity limits, plan limits, or moderation actions.

We reserve the right to remove users, end sessions, or close accounts that violate these rules.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of what you create on Meetzen (goals, chat messages, notes, files you attach). You grant us a limited license to store and display your content within the Service so you and your invited partners can use it.

You're responsible for what you share. Don't upload anything you don't have the rights to.

6. Payment & refunds

• Paid plans are billed annually unless stated otherwise.
• We offer a 14-day refund window — contact billing@meetzen.io if you're unsatisfied.
• After 14 days, paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel anytime in Settings.
• Local taxes are added at checkout where applicable.
• If your payment method fails, we may downgrade you to Free until it's resolved.

7. Termination

You may stop using Meetzen at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, attempt to harm the Service, or create legal risk for us or other users.

On termination, your access ends; we'll process data deletion per the Privacy Policy.

8. Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best to keep things running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service, accuracy of matching, or that the Service will fit your specific needs. Use it at your own discretion.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meetzen and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. For material changes, we'll notify you by email or in-app. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Meetzen is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
